This is a series of work(3 paintings) about a marginalized group in China who go to big cities from the countryside as the main labour of construction work and the most undesired physical work. They are the great contributors to the rapid urbanization and city maintenance in China but are not fairly treated in return and they can barely integrated into the cities where they work and live. Their working and living conditions has been improved a lot during recent years, but the education problem of their left-behind children in the countryside, the discrimination towards them still and will exist for a long time.
