Yin Wang is an interdisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, and printmaking, with a background in fashion design. Her practice moves between figuration and abstraction, shaped by her experience of living between cultures. Born in Nanjing and having lived in Shanghai, France, Hong Kong, and now London, she reflects on memory, familial bonds, displacement, and the fragile sense of belonging shaped by distance and cultural transition.
Wang graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Art Academy London in 2024. Her work has received several awards, including Winsor & Newton Painting Award at the Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition (2024) and the Original Print Award at the Green & Stone Gallery Works on Paper exhibition (2024). She was also shortlisted for the Liberty Art Award in 2024.
